INDIA'S ANSWER TO PULWAMA ATTACK
After the Pulwama attack every Indian was mourning its martyrs. Pulwama attack was one of the deadliest terror attack in Kashmir, a CRPF convoy of 70 vehicles was targeted by jaish-e-Mohammend suicide bomber, resulting in death of 40 jawans. Head of various countries expressed condolences. India slammed Pakistan for the attack and blamed it for supporting jaish-e-Mohammad and its founder Masood Azhar. The jaish suicide bomber, identified as Adil Ahmad Dar, rammed an SUV laden with over 3000 kg of explosives into the CRPF bus carrying about 40 personnel.

IAF targets terror camps run by Pakistan. On February 26 pre-dawn strikes carried out by Mirage 2000 fighters of the Indian Air Force has targeted the biggest training camp of jaish-e-Mohammad, the terror group involved in the February 14 attack on CRPF convoy that claimed over 40 jawans.
Air Strike destroys Pakistan terror camps! In a big overnight operation, IAF’s Mirage 2000 fighter jets have completely destroyed multiple terror camps in Pakistan. Foreign secretary VK Gokhale confirmed the operation and said, “India struck biggest training camp of Jaish in Balakot, large number of terrorists eliminated.”

“India is firmly and resolutely committed to taking all measures to fight the menace of terrorism. This non military pre-emptive action was targeted specifically at JeM camp. The selection of the target was also conditioned by our desire to avoid civilian casualties,” Gokhale added. He however did not give further details and said that information will be provided as and when they have it.
According to IAF sources, quoted by ANI, as many as 12 Mirage 2000 fighter jets of the Indian Air Force took part in the operation. According to reports, 1,000 kgs bombs were dropped on terror camps across the Line of Control (LoC). Sources have said that at around 0330 hours on the 26th February the Mirage 2000 fighter jets struck a major terrorist camp across the LoC and completely destroyed it.
This is said to be the first cross border air strike India has carried out in nearly five decades. The last such action was during the Bangladesh war 1971.
BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said Indian Air Force jets striking Muzafarabad sectorin PoK doesn’t amount to any violation of International law, as PoK is India’s territory.
Swamy tweeted, “We are bombing our own territory temporarily called PoK. So no international law broken but it is in self defence.”
Mr. Modi later told a rally in Rajasthan's Churu that the nation is in "safe hands" paying tribute to Indian security forces.
